In Photoshop: Create a new photoshop document by clicking File, New.  Change the Height and width to 1000 pixels each.  Set your background to white.  

When your document opens, type/create what you want your brush to be.  (www.shannonmariephotography.net or ©shannonmariephotography)

Create the brush: Edit, Define Brush Preset.  Name your brush.  Close the document (no need to save).  

To use this brush, open a document or a photo.  Create a new layer.  Find your custom brush in the brush pull down menu.  Click where you want it to be.  You can change color, size, opacity, etc… Make sure to "merge visible layers" before save as.  When I am saving an image with my watermark, I just add the © symbol to the end of the img # (101414_5555©.jpg).  This helps me stay organized and easily know which file to use when uploading, etc...

On Braylen's first day of preschool, I got to photograph these three beautiful little girls! Mom was ready with their Christmas dresses and candy canes. Each of the older two girls, Elissa and Sarah were excited to have their "own" pictures after the group shots. We were so blessed to get a "warmer" fall day at the beginning of November.

Mary just had her 1st birthday a few weeks ago. What a little doll! Big blue eyes and a smile to melt your heart! I just love those cute little baby teeth! She was a trooper playing outside on a chilly, Michigan fall day. She sure loved the leaves, grass, sticks, pearls, whatever she could get her adorable little hands on. I had a little trouble getting her to look at my camera instead of her mom...she is definitely a momma's girl!

What fun Kristin and I had capturing the special moments of Susanna and Jeff's day! This beautiful, fun and loving bride made everyone smile. The ceremony was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic church in Ypsilanti. After the beautiful mass, we headed over to West Park where Susanna had a perfect, rustic trellis in mind for her photos.
